St Mark James is the premium provider of first aid and CPR courses throughout the world. Its red crest is one of the most recognizable symbols in the world and is the universal symbol of first aid. St Mark James has a long and proud history dating back over 100 years. We are a proud training of St Mark James and we offer a variety of courses including standard, emergency and childcare first aid. We also offer CPR “only” classes that do not include any first aid certification. The three major level’s of CPR training include level “A”, “C” and “HCP”.
Variety of First Aid and CPR
Our CPR program is guided by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). St Mark James offers the highest standards in CPR and changes its program approximately every 5 years based on guidelines and recommendations from ILCOR. ILCOR also sets the guidelines for first aid and CPR courses with the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Vancouver First Aid.

Large Range of First Aid and CPR Courses
We offer number of different first aid and CPR courses. Standard first aid and CPR “C” is one of the most comprehensive and popular courses. It is a 16 hour first aid course that includes CPR training and automated external defibrillator (AED) training. At some locations candidates can opt for Standard first aid with CPR “HCP” instead of CPR “C”. Re-certifications are available for standard first aid courses. Emergency first aid and CPR “A” is another popular first aid and CPR course. Candidates in this 8 hour first aid course learn basic rescue techniques for adult victims. At some locations candidates can opt for a higher level emergency first aid with CPR “C”. Renewal courses are available for emergency first aid and CPR. St Mark James also offers its own program for childcare and daycare workers. These courses are emergency childcare first aid and standard childcare first aid. Both courses are very similar to both emergency and standard first aid. Re-certs are not available for childcare first aid courses.

- CPR level “A” and AED – Curriculum focuses on candidates rescuing adult victims.
- CPR level “B” and AED – Curriculum focuses on candidates rescuing adult and child victims.
- CPR level “C” and AED – Curriculum focuses on candidates rescuing adult, child and infant victims.
- Health Care Provider CPR and AED – Curriculum focuses on candidates rescuing adult, child and infant victims using more advanced training and equipment.
